Life is an adventure and Yamaha proves it again. The cool and chic Ray is the 1st scooter launched by the Japanese Company Yamaha that grabbed quick popularity in the Indian markets for its range of sports and premium bikes.

Ray, an endeavour of Yamaha to specifically target the young females with its every aspect starting with the choice of colours to its new and hep features is also universally accepted for its light weight and low seat height that ensure a comfortable ride for both the genders. Ray was in no time upgraded to its superior model - Yamaha Ray Z. This advanced bike had a visual variation to certainly attract the male riders too.

Two Days around the city, on off roads and hills made us fall in love with the Yamaha Ray and the RayZ. In narrow or wide, smooth or rough, this bike is never to let you down. The bike is a small-size big package vehicle. The Ray and the RayZ comes with the same engine and specs. The Ray Z has add-ons like a stylish meter visor; aluminium rear wind grab bar and different colour lines which make it look more outstanding.

The Yamaha Ray series is powered with a 113cc Powerful engine that can generate up to 7bhp and maximum torque of 8.1nm and can go up to 90kmph, a carburettor with TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) and Telescopic Front Suspension which ensures more riding stability. It does an impressive 53KMPL which is claimed to be the best practical mileage in the Scooter Category.

The Yamaha ray has many other impressive features some of which are the installed tubeless tires, a classy console, half-chain case, a viscous air filter and under-seat storage capacity of 20 liters which is spacious enough to store a big helmet, a DSLR camera, handbag or riding gears.

It is always real fun and adventurous ride with the Yamaha ray. A quick and smooth pickup, good tyres and reliable brakes ensure you a safe ride even when you are hitting the top speed and the mileage of 50+KMPL checks that youngsters don't have to worry about money every time they take this Yamaha out.

The Yamaha Ray & the Ray Z did attract a lot of attention from the passer-by people which was evident enough by their turning heads.
